𝟏𝟐.𝟎𝟎 𝐯𝐚𝐥. Flag-raising ceremony of Klaipėda city. The Mayor of Klaipėda Arvydas Vaitkus, the Director of the Museum of the History of Lithuania Minor Dr. Jonas Genys, representatives of the Simon Dach House and the cultural community of Klaipėda will participate in the ceremony. The musical programme will be performed by the Klaipėda Brass Quintet (Klaipėda Castle Square, 2 Priešpilio St.)

𝟏𝟐.𝟑𝟎–𝟐𝟎.𝟑𝟎 𝐯𝐚𝐥. Educational programme with the opportunity to get acquainted with the secrets of herbs, the symbolism and legends of Klaipėda city, to forge a festive coin, to try out old outdoor games, to learn how to write with a goose feather, to take part in the workshop of the Klaipėda Old Town kokles and in the task game “What do you know about Simon Dach?” (Klaipėda Castle Square, 2 Priešpilio Street)

𝟏𝟐.𝟑𝟎–𝟐𝟎.𝟑𝟎 𝐯𝐚𝐥. Visiting the exhibition dedicated to Simonas Dachas (1605-1659) and screening of the film “Simonas Dachas: The Return of a Forgotten Klaipėda Citizen to the Lithuanian Audience” (Castle Museum Conference Hall, 2, Priešpilio St.)

𝟐𝟎.𝟎𝟎 𝐯𝐚𝐥. Justinas Jarutis concert (Teatras a.)

𝟐𝟏.𝟑𝟎 𝐯𝐚𝐥. Concert of the early music ensemble “Šviesotamsa” “(Un)familiar Simon Dach”. The poems of Simon Dach in Lithuanian and German and the music of Heinrich Albert (1604-1651), the poet’s friend, the organist of Königsberg Cathedral and one of the most famous Prussian Baroque composers, will be performed. Rūta Vosyliūtė – soprano, Kristine Stumbure – longitudinal flute and baroque transverse flute, Vilimas Norkūnas – virginal, basso continuo (Klaipėda Castle Square, 2 Priešpilio St.)
