Danse Macabre is a musical experience inspired by Latin American magical realism in literature and rhythm music. The opening party of the afterlife restaurant, where the stories of five characters are intertwined. The theme of unfulfilled wishes, desires and dreams will be revealed, and the theme of death will be approached with humour, absurdity and irony, raising the question – what does it mean to live here and now?

Danse Macabre was built on the principle of collaborative work. It was inspired by an endless sense of instability, following the world news and observing the accumulated tensions in society. The creators had the idea of creating a performance that would speak about the importance of the present moment. About living life without waiting or expecting anything – trying to fully experience what is happening now, facing the future with courage and appreciating all the gifts we have.
