Is it possible to experience music in a different way – not with the traditional eyes watching what is happening on stage, but with a wider range of senses? Aukuras Choir invites you to a unique experiential concert, where the listener becomes an active participant rather than an ordinary listener. This evening, the image will be removed from the perception of music: with the audience blindfolded, every sound will seem more intense, every turn of the melody unexpected, every timbre more vivid.

It’s like attending a concert in 3D. The performers invite you to experience contemporary choral music in this unusual way – compositions by Ēriks Ešenvalds, Eric Whitacre, Ola’a Gjeilo, Vytautas Miškinis and other composers, full of light, silence and emotional intensity. The concert will also feature samples of Braille applications, inviting you to try to “touch” the music.
