Most recently, the partnership between Herkus Kant and El Chico Fuendre gave birth to an evening in which the El Chico guys voluntarily gave as many as three concerts – one planned, one after the discovery of the two pianos, and an encore just before the bar closed and the musicians packed up their instruments.
Kipras, the head of Herkus Kant, said:- “You can come back here any time after tonight.”
The guys retorted uncontrollably:- “Then we’ll do another concert. No, we’re doing a residency! Three concerts, no – four concerts!!!”
We shook hands and the rest is history so to speak. Heavy is ze crown.
Four-day residency – concerts every day, playing everything we have. Krautrock, psychedelic, jazz, academic music, solo work, acoustic, guests. Four days of experimentation, tireless music-making, dedication and interconnection. EL TAKEOVER x HERKUS KANTAS.

11.29 | ALGIS FEDIAJEVAS | EL CHICO FUENDRE
At the beginning of the evening, the audience will be greeted by the acoustic guitar of a philosopher, a country music lover, a good man, with whom it is never boring to exchange words. In fact, I would travel to the ends of the earth with him. In Algis’ hands, acoustic psychedelics come alive. After his performance, with electronic devices switched on, we will go on a krautrock ritual with El Chico Fuendre. Four days later, Herkus Kantas is like a home ground for them. The men will give their all – all their experience. A two-hour concert. A two-hour spiritual experience. Thank God we can finally experience it together.

Algis Fediajevs’ work features acoustic psychedelics, which sometimes harmoniously accompany us to idyllic distances, and sometimes become angry, aggressive, highlighting the darkness of the world and not shying away from dirt. Algis has released four solo albums. The latest, After Three Years, was recorded in England with local musicians and released in various formats at the end of 2023. He is one of the most active Lithuanian artists performing abroad.
“El Chico Fuendre is an electronic music trio consisting of Domantas Pūras, Ignas Šoliūnas and Jokūbas Preikša. It is one of the most active Lithuanian bands performing in Europe. Recently, they presented their latest album “Ragas for City Dwellers”, which has toured from Lithuania to France and Switzerland and back. Last autumn, the band appeared on the Kablis stage with Rival Consoles at the Gaida festival. The trio’s sonic ritual combines psychedelic rock, krautrock, electronica and modular fusion. Everything is performed live, with no pre-recorded tracks – just a direct connection between electricity, hands and sound.
“The result is surprisingly spiritual and hard to put into words. The music here takes on an almost living form – pulsating, ever-growing and enveloping the listener’s surroundings in its density. With its vitality, Ragas for City Dwellers ensures that you will want to come back to it many times more.”- Dovydas Pėkus, ore.lt / Make yourself heard
“More than a show, this was a spiritual experience. Their perfect mastery of momentum ensured a highly organic shaping of sound – it was like a flower blooming.”- Rebecca Galian Castello, Clash Magazine
