Most recently, the partnership between Herkus Kant and El Chico Fuendre gave birth to an evening in which the El Chico guys voluntarily gave as many as three concerts – one planned, one after the discovery of the two pianos, and an encore just before the bar closed and the musicians packed up their instruments.
Kipras, the head of Herkus Kant, said:- “You can come back here any time after tonight.”
The guys retorted uncontrollably:- “Then we’ll do another concert. No, we’re doing a residency! Three concerts, no – four concerts!!!”
We shook hands and the rest is history so to speak. Heavy is ze crown.
Four-day residency – concerts every day, playing everything we have. Krautrock, psychedelic, jazz, academic music, solo work, acoustic, guests. Four days of experimentation, tireless music-making, dedication and interconnection. EL TAKEOVER x HERKUS KANTAS.

11.28 | THE FOLDS | FANTASTIC FOUR
New Age Jazz (maybe – people on the side should decide). Repetitive, ritualistic, tribalistic jazz.
“The Folds is a duo that combines jazz, electronic and organic sounds into immersive, long-form compositions that cannot be easily labelled. The duo consists of Domantas Pūras and Dominykas Snarskis, and their music is reminiscent of a shamanic ritual. “Our music is like a long car journey through a little changing horizon. Imagine driving through the desert, the wind blowing through your hair, driving for a long time – the horizon seems to be almost unchanging, or changing very slowly. The solidity of the road hypnotises you, almost drowns you in a trance, and an hour later, even though you seem to be in the same place, everything has changed beyond recognition compared to the beginning of the journey. The duo has appeared at festivals such as Vilnius Mama Jazz and the Zi Recommends Festival.
“Fantastic Four (premiere) is the first performance of the quartet consisting of Domantas Pūras, Dominykas Snarskis, Ignas Šoliūnas and Kornelijus Pukinsis. The debut of the quartet, which has been long in the making, will take place exactly where it is destined to happen. The quartet’s music is characterised by recurring motifs, the search for a higher meaning in places where it does not seem to be needed, and the finding of it in places where you would never have thought it existed. You can’t say too much about this quartet – you have to hear it.
