“NIGHT OF THE LIGHTHOUSES OF FREEDOM. KLAIPĖDA” event consists of three parts: conference, discussion and light festival. Pay attention to the time and exact location of the events.
• The “Night of Freedom Lighthouses. Klaipėda” conference and discussion is devoted to the maritime and engineering heritage of Lithuania and its preservation. The conference dedicated to the Year of Lighthouses aims to draw the attention of society and institutions to the symbols of the maritime state – the lighthouses of Lithuania and to answer unanswered questions. The best experts of the country’s lighthouses, archaeologists, heads of responsible institutions and companies gathered at the Lithuanian Maritime Museum will discuss the possibility of opening the Klaipėda lighthouse to the public, as if for the restoration of the White Lighthouse, and they will be the first to learn the results of the archaeological searches of Nida’s Red Christ.
