On 26-27 September, Klaipėda will host a frenzied Oktoberfest! For more than 200 years, the Bavarians have developed a festival that has become not only a beer-lover’s fiesta, but also a distinctive exhibition of German culture.

On this occasion, on the last weekend of September, a huge tent smelling of hops and strawberries will be set up in Klaipėda’s Market Square, where a different programme will take place for two evenings, with orchestras, performers of the most famous German and Lithuanian schlager songs, games and other activities.
“The Lithuanian language has many adjectives with the same ending: unique, unreal, special, original, musical. All of these words navigate you to the Oktoberfest Klaipėda 2025 celebration, where these words will be merrily intertwined,” say the organisers, inviting everyone to dress up in Bavarian costumes – “lederhosen” and “dirndl” – and to get ready to dance until midnight.

“The programme for Oktoberfest Klaipėda 2025 will be revealed soon. The festival, which will take place on 26-27 September, is organised by Klaipėda City Municipality, the Žvejų rūmai Cultural Centre and partners.
