The code name of the event is a mirror, reflecting not only our image but also what lies beneath it, helping to raise questions: who and what are we? What do we see around us? What do we want to see ourselves as? The synergy of image, light, sound, lasers, projections and live performance will reveal the most beautiful threads of our society-community, inviting us to strengthen the connection, to create new links, to appreciate what is most important. During the opening event, the 10 nominations for the Year of Social Responsibility will be presented, which will become the flagships of the year 2026.

The symbol of Klaipėda, the revived castle tower, which is illuminated with visions of the future, will become the axis of the Klaipėda Light Festival: all the objects and installations of the festival will be illuminated towards it.

The opening of the festival will be crowned by a concert by Free Finga.
