The Art Department of the I. Kant Public Library of Klaipėda City Municipality (J. Janonio g. 9) invites you to visit ROBERTAS RŪDŽIS’s personal photography exhibition “sᾱva spaces”.

The photographic essay “sᾱva spaces” is the first photographic narrative by photographer Roberts Rūdis about artists Ania Losinger and Mats Eser, people very close to him spiritually. It is only the beginning of a series or an introduction to this subject and space that is close to the photographer.
“I take natural photographs in the environment of A&M (Ania Losinger and Mats Eser). This environment and its people are what I want to describe photographically, how I am doing or will do, I don’t know, I just want to show it.”
Robert has always been fascinated by the films of Andrei Tarkovsky and the philosophy of the art he makes. “And I wanted to photograph what is invisible to the eye, intangible to the hand, but felt inside and out. When it’s warm or cold we don’t see it, but we feel it. It is a state. I want to photograph states,” says R. Rūdys.

The premiere music and dance performance “WATER PIECE” by Swiss artists Ania Losinger and Mats Eser will take place on 3 December at 6 pm in the Malūnas loft, Gluosnių skg. 2A.
