HEAT AND LIGHT INSTALLATION “KEEP THE EARTH”
to celebrate Climate Week
21 October, 8 pm
I. Simonaitytės kalnas
Through lights, sights and sounds, we will hear the earth speak. It is an immersive art installation where sound and image merge into one sensory space. Through special effects, you will hear natural phenomena and the Earth’s silent speech, conveyed through audiovisual narratives.
The installation invites you to stop, sit, feel and – most importantly – hear.
Participants: the Gliukų Theatre (Benas Šarka) and students of the 7th theatre class of Klaipėda Vydūnas Gymnasium.
Duration: 40 min.

Imagine a world where it doesn’t rain for months on end. Rivers turn into dried-up ditches and forests that were alive with life yesterday are blackened by fires today. This is not a science fiction film. This is our reality. Our planet is changing. And it is crying out for our help.
Every unusually warm, snow-free winter, every flood, every drought-stricken region is like a silent cry for help.
It all starts with us. It starts with small steps: with one plastic bag you don’t buy, with a bicycle instead of a car, with the brave question “How can I do my part?”
Climate change. And it’s not happening somewhere far away. It’s here. In Lithuania. In our backyard.
The solution is in our hands. And it’s not a cry of fear, it’s a cry of hope.
Because every tree, every kilometre cycled, every sustainable choice – it’s a step towards a future where Lithuania is not only alive, but green.
Since ancient times, we have known how to live with the forest, with the land, with water. Maybe now is the time to remember that?!
