The show musical “Christmas on the Horns” is organised by the authors and creators of the festive series for the whole family “It’s at least Christmas”, which is now in its sixth TV season.

Christmas is just around the corner – there’s a saying! All the Christmas preparations have been successfully completed, the presents are ready, the magical sleigh is loaded – it’s time for the great journey of Christmas Eve. Only… Rudolph, where is Rudolph?! Why is he nowhere to be seen? Has he been mischievous and gone into hiding or has something happened to him? Without Rudolf, the journey simply won’t happen and then no child in the world will get a present! The children will be disappointed, maybe even angry, and worst of all, they will stop believing in miracles and the world will be enveloped in the darkness of sadness…

The darkness of disbelief and sadness can only be dispelled by the nine-horned reindeer bringing the sun on its antlers on Christmas morning, but, oh, my goodness, where has the reindeer gone?!

Will the inhabitants of the magical forest be able to save Christmas, find Rudolph and deliver presents to the children on time? Will Santa, the Elves and the other inhabitants of the magical forest figure out how to resolve this magical situation? Is something really wrong with Rudolph, or is he just joking, or has he become stubborn?

Libretto by Povilas Laurinkus, director Mykolas Vildžiūnas, designer Grigorijus Zundelovičius, video projections by illustrator Skirmantė Budvytė. The musical will feature new unheard Christmas songs from the second “Tai bent” vinyl album, which will be released together with the show musical this winter. The songs will be written by Elfė Aistė Lasytė, the music produced by Aurimas Vilkišius, and the music will be performed live on stage by an instrumental and a vocal group.

The show musical will tell the story of how even a little stubbornness can lead to big trouble and encourage little ones not to be “goats”, but rather to wear antlers. The events on stage will remind us that by working together and being creative we can overcome even the biggest stubbornness, and will teach kindness and compassion.

Don’t be stubborn, come and see – don’t be scared off by Rudolph’s horns!
