This concert is the culmination of a two-day masterclass led by Andris Veismanis, one of the leading authorities on Latvian choral music. This year, for the second time, the educational cycle is organised not only for the choir, but also for future conductors and music educators, with the aim of strengthening their professional competences and opening up wider creative perspectives.

The final concert will feature a programme of works by Latvian composers and opuses from the international repertoire, reflecting the stylistic diversity of contemporary choral music and the traditions of the Baltic region. Conducted by Andris Veismanis, the Aukuras Choir will present the results of an intensive creative process and the aesthetic liveliness of choral expression.
