Lithuanian Sea Museum, Aquarium and Dolphinarium is a museum that invites visitors and residents of the port city to explore the mysterious water world. The museum is located in Kopgalis, the northernmost point of the Curonian Spit, where the gates of Klaipėda port open. Twenty-four aquariums of the museum feature four ecosystems: freshwater, Baltic Sea, North Sea and tropical seas. The aquarium is also equipped with an acrylic tunnel that allows close-up observation of seawater creatures. The museum covers an area of about 13 hectares, as well as houses a dolphinarium – home to penguins, Baltic Sea grey seals and North Sea lions. Dolphin shows and educational shows featuring California sea lions take place at the Dolphinarium on a regular basis. The Dolphin Assisted Therapy Centre that works with children with a variety of medical conditions has been operating at the dolphinarium since 2015. The building of the museum is handicap-accessible.
