2:30

The Old Ferry Terminal was installed in the central part of the city near the spot where the Danė River meets the Curonian Lagoon. After reaching Smiltynė, you can visit the Smiltynė Yacht Club, Smiltynė beaches, the southern breakwater, and the Lithuanian Sea Museum, Aquarium and Dolphinarium by bike or on foot, as well as explore the villages of Nida, Juodkrantė, Preila or Pervalka in the Curonian Spit National Park. The ferries operating from the Old Ferry Terminal carry people, bicycles, pets (but not motor vehicles). Ferries run hourly during the cold season and at half an hour intervals during the warm season. There are also special ferries that can carry you directly to the Lithuanian Sea Museum, Aquarium and Dolphinarium.
