Since ancient times, the inhabitants of the Baltic Sea coast have cherished the gifts of the sea – amber, which was like gold to them. Many used to believe and still believe that amber has magic powers that can protect against evil as well as heal. Today seaside residents and city guests have an opportunity to take a unique guided tour involving the amber catching. During the tour, you will learn about the origin and properties of amber, and will have an opportunity to see the original amber collection of the tour guide. You will be introduced into the specifics of amber catching and gathering. The bravest will have a chance to try their luck in amber catching in the sea.
