Klaipėda City Hall

I-VII 24/7 (outside)

It is the historic building where King Frederick William III of Prussia and Queen Louise temporarily lived during the Napoleonic Wars (1807-1808). It is a classical house built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries and belonged to the Danish consul Lork and later to his relative Consentius. In 1846, the city magistrate bought the building, which became the Klaipėda Town Hall.

Since 2011, the Mayor of Klaipėda and some of the city’s municipal administration staff have returned to this historic building.
