It is about how life changes when you have a chronic illness. The basis of Diktgymnasiet&#8217;s artistic practice &#8211; language &#8211; then became lost, inaccessible. In the artist&#8217;s own words, &#8220;both I and my writing were ill&#8221;. And what is a writer to do if reading and writing become cognitively inaccessible? In the works, most of which were created in the bed of sickness, language is used as a material to raise questions of self-help, disability and justice.
