Four seasons, four cellos, four radically different dancers.<\/div>\n
The dance and live music performance “Seasons” is the first joint work of Sheiko Dance Theatre and Klaip\u0117da Cello Quartet led by Mindaugas Ba\u010dkaus. The cellists’ live performance of one of the world’s most popular works – Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons – takes on a new, deconstructed form on stage. <\/div>\n
The different seasons and elements are embodied here by performers who are unique in their own fields, with very different expressions and plasticity: the aristocratic ballerina Beata Molyt\u0117, the theatrical shaman Benas \u0160arka, the actor Aleksas Ma\u017eonas, and one of the strongest contemporary dance dancers of his generation Marius Pinigis.<\/div>\n
Choreographer Agnija \u0160eiko has managed to masterfully coordinate the collaboration of these personalities on stage, giving them enough freedom of expression. This creates an unexpected harmony of dance and music between the different performers. <\/div>\n
