Klaip\u0117da congratulates “\u017duv\u0117dra”!
On 20 September this year, Klaip\u0117da will host an exclusive concert dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the legendary Klaip\u0117da sports dance group “\u017duv\u0117dra”! Several generations of the team – from past to present and future \u017duv\u0117dra dancers, coaches and performers – will come together to celebrate the honourable anniversary of \u017duv\u0117dra in a solemn and exciting event.
\u017duv\u0117dra is not only Klaip\u0117da, not only Lithuania – it is an international stage!<\/div>\n
For more than six decades, the group has celebrated our country all over the world, graced the most prestigious stages, trained many world-renowned dancers, and inspired countless dance enthusiasts.
On this occasion, a large number of dancers who grew up with \u017duv\u0117dra will return for one evening not only to celebrate, but also to show that for dance, the concept of time does not exist, but rather brings together a fantastically long period.<\/div>\n
The day part of the programme will feature competitions – the strongest Lithuanian sports dancers will compete, and we will see the best of the best in the evening part of the programme.
The evening part of the concert will be hosted by the former \u017duv\u0117dra dancers and the charismatic presenters Tadas Rimgaila and Linas Lap\u0117nas. The organisers of the evening will invite you to reminisce the history of \u017duv\u0117dra, surprise you with unexpected surprises, performances and compositions with almost 100 dancers at the same time! <\/div>\n
Costume designer Aina Zin\u010diukait\u0117 will recall the costume fashions of dancers from all six decades, and one of the most famous Lithuanian performers – MARTYNAS KAVALIAUSKAS – will entertain the audience with passionate dance melodies. The anniversary concert will be crowned by the performance of the guests from the Netherlands – the Latin American sports dance ensemble “DSV DANCE IMPRESSION”. <\/div>\n
