Vertical dance performance “KAMBARYS” is back!

The dancer Inga Briazkalovait\u0117 is nominated for the Golden Stage Crosses in the category “Best Dancer” in 2024. <\/div>\n
Respectfully about LIFE.
We are all walking a fine line of fate\/life and nobody knows how much each of us has been given… According to statistics, about 1400 people in Lithuania fall into a coma every year, only a fraction of which “come back”. Can we choose?… Nobody knows, but people who have experienced a CLINICAL DEATH tell us their memories and are happy to take advantage of the second chance.<\/div>\n
This time VERTICAL DANCE DIFFERENT, in the form of a troubled soul.
ROOM is a performance based on the real memories and experiences of people who have experienced clinical death and coma.<\/div>\n
Room – a room bounded by walls and normally accessed by a door or other partition. It can be a guardian or a trap for our emotions. All rooms need to be entered or exited. It is a path that we choose or are forced to take. Some rooms are for the living, others for the dead, others are passable. Life is pleasant, death is peaceful, and the transition is tiring. It is this three-stage journey that Room is about. It is an invisible defined space that we enter without stepping into, we travel without being asked. We don’t look for this journey, it happens. We experience it when body and soul separate. Each room can have several exits. Then we have to choose, to delay in choosing. Do we really all have the right to choose? The right to choose to die or to live?
Death is only the final phase of physical existence. “For what is there to die but to stand naked in the wind and melt in the sun? And when the earth takes away your limbs, you will surely dance.” (Lebanese-American poet Kakhil Gibran) And what next? Where next? Or maybe back? And should we?…? <\/div>\n
