Salve musica Festival of Festive Classics<\/div>\n
As the festive concert series at Klaip\u0117da Concert Hall gets underway, this evening presents a programme of masterful classical and contemporary sacred music. The concert brings together two of Lithuania’s greatest masters of music – pianist M\u016bza Rubackyt\u0117 and conductor Modestas Pitr\u0117nas, both laureates of the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts and internationally acclaimed artists who inspire audiences in Lithuania and beyond with their creativity. <\/div>\n
M\u016bza Rubackyt\u0117, together with the Klaip\u0117da Chamber Orchestra conducted by Modestas Pitr\u0117nas, will perform Joseph Haydn’s virtuosic concerto and Franz Liszt’s passionate Mal\u00e9diction, while the Aukuras Choir and the orchestra will reveal the lush and luminous sound of John Rutter’s Magnificat.<\/div>\n
