Combining instruments from different traditions and improvisational freedom, this ensemble creates a sound that is contemporary yet deeply rooted in history. <\/p>\n<p>The programme combines melodies from the regions of Puglia, Salento and Calabria, tarantellas and pizzicatos filled with the rhythm of dance, and Sephardic cantigas (songs) of extraordinary gentleness, preserving the cultural heritage of the Jewish diaspora in Spain.
