Klaip\u0117da Brass Quintet, one of the longest-running and most prominent Lithuanian brass ensembles, celebrates a significant anniversary this year, marking forty years of creating brass culture in the city and Lithuania.<\/div>\n
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the current core of the quintet combines professionalism, long tradition and constant renewal.<\/div>\n
Over the past decades, the ensemble has collaborated with many of the country’s leading musicians, initiated educational and inter-genre projects, presented national premieres and developed a distinctive, widely recognisable sound.<\/div>\n
For this evening, the quintet has assembled a special team of guests: they will be joined by clarinettist Rimvydas Savickas, oboist Robertas Beinoris, flutist Valentinas Gelgotas, birby player Egidijus Ali\u0161auskas and vocalist Inga Jankauskait\u0117.<\/div>\n
The concert will feature works and arrangements from the ensemble’s most prominent projects. This evening is a musical retrospective revealing the ensemble’s creative path, its partnerships and its significant contribution to the development of Lithuanian wind band culture. <\/div>\n
