This time, he turns to the tradition of bathing, which is deeply rooted in Japanese culture, to present bathing in a public bath as a distinctive art form, which he has been consistently cultivating for more than a decade. <\/p>\n
When architect Shiro Miura’s business fails in the big city, he reluctantly returns to his hometown and the public bath he inherited from his father with his younger brother, where unresolved issues of family and life simmer quietly beneath the steam. Surrounded by daily rituals and warm steam, Shiro gradually realises that inner peace lies where he once tried to escape.
