“The Rain of December – Chopin’s lifelong love story
A two-act ballet inspired by the life and music of the genius composer Frederic Chopin. The stage will feature live piano performances of Chopin’s works. <\/div>\n
The ballet tells the tragic romantic story of Chopin and the famous writer George Sand, intertwined with the ups and downs of creativity, the shadows of illness, and a total dedication to art.<\/div>\n
The choreographer and director is Kristina Paulin, a former dancer with the Hamburg Ballet, whose work has been presented in Germany, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, the UK and Italy.<\/div>\n
The Vanemuine Theatre version in Klaip\u0117da is a special one: it presents a newly created second act that reveals even more of the composer’s inner world.<\/div>\n
