It is a dance performance-historical tour of Klaip\u0117da’s sites, which 200 years ago were walked by Queen Louise and the Prussian royal court, fleeing Berlin from Napoleon’s army.<\/p>\n
With the historical – fiction text in the headphones, the modern deconstructed music of the time, the sounds of the city, and the accompaniment of five dancers embodying the queen, the viewer feels like a hero in a historical film, where the pulse of modern Klaip\u0117da and the vibrancy of the old M\u00e9mel merge.<\/p>\n
By hearing extracts from the memoirs of the Queen and the courtiers, the viewer becomes a witness to her surroundings, while Louise’s favourite cello music and the laconic movement in the urban spaces create a magical experience.<\/p>\n
The dance performance – a historical excursion is intended for those looking for a poetic, personally touching, unconventional artistic expression and those interested in the history of Klaip\u0117da.<\/p>\n
