AB \u201cKlaip\u0117dos energija\u201d invites you to take a tour of the thermal power plant complex\u2014the only facility of its kind in Klaip\u0117da! During the tours, you\u2019ll have a unique opportunity to get a closer look at the area in the \u201cheart\u201d of the port city, on the banks of the Dan\u0117 River, where Klaip\u0117da\u2019s light and heat were first generated.<\/p>\n
Visitors will hear captivating stories about the history of the industry, see interwar-era turbine-generators that are still in operation today, and an impressive 120-meter-tall steel chimney that is more than half a century old.<\/p>\n
Tour participants will have the opportunity to access areas that are usually off-limits to visitors. The industrial setting, the grandeur of the machinery, and the city\u2019s energy history will come together to create a memorable experience. <\/p>\n
The final stop on the tour is the Lei\u010di\u0173 MemelHaus craft brewery, located in the same historic Klaip\u0117da Energy Space. A short beer tasting awaits you here\u2014led by the brewery\u2019s brewmaster himself: two different styles of beer and a mini-quiz about what you just saw on the tour. <\/p>\n
