approaches, three cargo-handling companies at the Port of Klaip\u0117da will open their doors to Klaip\u0117da residents and visitors alike, inviting them to take a closer look at their operations: Klaip\u0117da Maritime Cargo Company \u201cBEGA,\u201d Klaip\u0117da Container Terminal, UAB, and the international energy terminal operator \u201cKN Energies.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On July 23, we invite you to take advantage of this exclusive and free opportunity to view the \u201cIndependence\u201d\u2014a floating storage vessel and symbol of Lithuania\u2019s energy independence\u2014from the ferry, get a close-up view of the \u201cWind of Freedom\u201d adorning the hull of the \u201cIndependence,\u201d and learn more about the importance of the Klaip\u0117da LNG terminal to the country\u2019s energy security. <\/p>\n<p>The tour of the LNG terminal will take place aboard the ferry \u201cKlaip\u0117da.\u201d The ferry departs from the Old Ferry Terminal (1 Dan\u0117s St., Klaip\u0117da) on July 23 at 7:00 p.m. Please arrive at the ferry 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.   <\/p>\n<p>The event is free of charge and is presented to the public by the Lithuanian Association of Stevedoring Companies and AB \u201cKN Energies,\u201d the operator of the Klaip\u0117da LNG terminal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please be advised:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We ask that all event participants bring the free ticket provided upon registration and a form of identification.<\/li>\n<li>By participating in the tour, you agree that photographs taken or video footage recorded during the tour may be published on the social media accounts of the organizations hosting the event.<\/li>\n<li>By participating in this tour, you agree to follow all safety and conduct guidelines provided by the ferry crew and the event organizers.<\/li>\n<li>We ask event participants to carefully assess the forecast weather conditions and dress appropriately, as there are a limited
