On a summer evening, the audience is invited to spend the evening to the rhythm of jazz\u2014to immerse themselves in live musical improvisations, subtle melodies, and unexpected musical dialogues. The program, featuring three musicians with many years of stage experience, promises a sensitive, free-spirited, and emotionally rich musical journey. <\/p>\n
Pianist, composer, and associate professor at the Faculty of Arts of Klaip\u0117da University, Saulius \u0160iau\u010diulis is one of Lithuania\u2019s most prominent jazz artists. He has performed at prestigious jazz festivals in Lithuania and abroad, collaborated with the Klaip\u0117da Dixieland Band, and appeared on stages in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, and other countries. <\/p>\n
Drummer Edmundas Federavi\u010dius is a longtime jazz performer and educator who actively participates in projects in Lithuania and abroad. His musical style is characterized by freedom of improvisation, a sound typical of the classical jazz tradition, and a focus on training young musicians. <\/p>\n
Saxophonist and educator Laimonas Urbikas has performed at numerous jazz festivals in Lithuania and has given concerts in the United States, Japan, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Latvia, and other countries. He currently leads the Klaip\u0117da Dixieland band \u201cMemeland,\u201d performs in various jazz projects, and in 2018 was honored with the \u201cJazz Star\u201d award, established by the Klaip\u0117da Jazz Festival, for his promotion of jazz music. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
