On September 2 at 5:30 p.m., we invite families to join us for an experiential nature hike in the Klaip\u0117da Forest titled \u201cTraces and Treasures in Nature.\u201d <\/div>\n
In the Klaip\u0117da Forest, we\u2019ll embark on a real nature exploration\u2014we\u2019ll look for signs of life and animal tracks, and we\u2019ll learn to identify birds by their calls, tree species, natural treasures, and animal bones and antlers.<\/div>\n
During the hike:
\u2022 we\u2019ll learn how to navigate;
\u2022 we\u2019ll look for hidden checkpoints;
\u2022 we\u2019ll examine animal tracks;
\u2022 we\u2019ll listen to and identify birds;
\u2022 we\u2019ll learn about trees and other natural features.<\/div>\n

Important: The Klaip\u0117da Summer Stage is currently under renovation, but there are several paths around it that will allow you to easily reach the event venue. We\u2019ll meet at the start of the bike path; exact coordinates: https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/a8CEpvQb1ZrPtPS98<\/a> <\/div>\n
The event\u2019s educators are nature guide Goda Ma\u010di\u016bn\u0117, ornithologist Ingrida Lagunavi\u010dien\u0117, and biologist Domas Ma\u010di\u016bnas.<\/div>\n
Video and photos will be taken during the event.<\/div>\n
Be sure to bring clothing and footwear suitable for the forest, water, a hat, insect repellent, and a smartphone with internet access.<\/div>\n
