Unexpected stories come into life on the surfaces of walls, alleys and yards, sometimes historical, sometimes witty, and sometimes simply evocative and beautiful. Here, street art is not a decoration but a part of the city\u2019s identity. It gives Klaip\u0117da unexpected angles, liveliness and originality.<\/p>\n<p>Dozens of impressive wall paintings inspired by the city\u2019s history, myths and everyday life can be found in the port city. A painted map of the Old Town can be found on Turgaus Street, and nearby there are frescoes restored in the spirit of the old Friedrich\u2019s Arcade. The painting \u2018Legends\u2019 is reminiscent of the Witches\u2019 Hill, and the legends \u2018J\u016brat\u0117 and Kastytis\u2019 and \u2018Egl\u0117 the Queen of Serpents\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The street art in Klaip\u0117da is shifting unceasingly.
