\u201c\u0160vyturys\u201d, the oldest brewery in Western Lithuania, was founded in 1784. It was founded by Klaip\u0117da merchant J.W. Reincke, who wanted to offer the people of the coastal region such a good beer that they would be proud to serve it to their guests and enjoy it themselves. More than 220 years have passed since then. \u201c\u0160vyturys\u201d beer is accompanied by success.<\/p>\n
In 1946, \u201c\u0160vyturys\u201d brewery, rebuilt after the war, started brewing beer. Initially, it was only kegged and transported to the bars in of Klaip\u0117da region. In 1950, a bottling line was installed at the brewery.<\/p>\n
