{"id":5912,"date":"2021-12-07T09:23:55","date_gmt":"2021-12-07T07:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/place\/hiking-trails\/"},"modified":"2023-08-10T10:30:41","modified_gmt":"2023-08-10T07:30:41","slug":"hiking-trails","status":"publish","type":"place","link":"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/en\/place\/hiking-trails\/","title":{"rendered":"Hiking routes"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><strong><em>Whether you like to explore new territories or see a familiar city from a different angle, we invite you to put your backpack on your shoulders and go on a sightseeing hike.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>In Klaip\u0117da there are <strong>two types<\/strong> of hiking paths<\/h3>\n<h2>City sightseeing routes<\/h2>\n<h3><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-26371 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/klaipeda-pazintinis-takas-zygio-kelias-marsrutai-kava-issinesimuicompressed-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Klaip\u0117da routes and more in the Old Town for getting to know the city better (<a href=\"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/individualus-marsrutai\/\">5 routes<\/a> with descriptions).<\/p>\n<p>11 differently themed routes for a different understading of the city &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/11-nauju-marsrutu\/\">h e r e<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>Other topical maps of the Old Town and the central part of the city can be found in <a href=\"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/leidiniai\/\">h e r e<\/a> .<\/p>\n<h2>Health trails in Klaip\u0117da coastal forest<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-26375\" src=\"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/misko-takai-klaipeda-giruliu-miskas-hike-trail-compressed-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"266\">Shorter and simpler simply called &#8211; \u201e<strong>Mi\u0161ko takais\u201c <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ySakTQp3ZoHJEkFCTpHg5ss220fXmkyJ\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">routes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1_UtI10gZPWx7GyzKjKEBaya0NzpP6AZ_\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">descriptions<\/a>). These are 4 routes in the forest from the summer bandstand to the edge of Giruliai Forest.<\/p>\n<p>What makes these trails special is that more than 95% of the trails follow a variety of forest paths, tracks and trails, avoiding as much as possible the asphalt.<\/p>\n<p>There are 4 paths in the forest marked with beige stakes &#8221; <span style=\"color: #eef2da;\">\u258b<\/span>&#8221; on the inside of the route (there are only a few exceptions when the staple is placed on the other side) and a special pink dot &#8221; <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">&#8211;<\/span> &#8221; marking on trees.<br \/>\nTo orientate better use the PDF <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ySakTQp3ZoHJEkFCTpHg5ss220fXmkyJ\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">map<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>The routes are really scenic and even pleasantly surprising &#8211; how many faces this green space has.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In certain places \u201eMi\u0161ko takai\u201c connect with mountain bike enthusiast roads marked with orange \u201e <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>\u2192<\/strong><\/span> \u201c arrows.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">We would like to warn you and ask you to be attentive on these sections<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201e<strong>J\u016br\u0173 takas<\/strong>\u201c<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baltictrails.eu\/lt\/coastal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-26359 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/klaipedatravel.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/juru-takas-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a>And for those who are more serious, we invite you to try the &#8220;Maritime Trail&#8221;. This is the European long-distance walking route (<a href=\"https:\/\/baltictrails.eu\/lt\/coastal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E9<\/a>) part of the Baltic coast.
