Ben in Lithuania: Lost and Not Found

Stand-up comedian Benjamin McWilliams has been trying to understand the strangeness, chaos and unwritten rules of Lithuania for three years now – and it has been a challenging journey to say the least. Originally from New Mexico and raised in Texas, Ben has travelled around the world stopping cars in transit, collecting many incredible, absurd and sometimes hard to explain stories along the way. But nothing – certainly nothing – prepared him for his adventures (or misadventures) in the Baltic States.

A true world wanderer, Ben has lived in many countries, survived the wilds of Mongolia and slipped through Serbia without any major losses. But no place has destroyed his sanity like Lithuania. Lost and Not Found is a collection of frank, funny and insanely real stories of culture shock, linguistic misunderstandings and the strangest situations that seem to haunt him on purpose.

Expect frank storytelling, unexpected twists and turns, and a quirky style of humour that will keep the audience surprised – and giggling. From awkward encounters with outspoken Lithuanians to the daily challenge of ordering food without offending someone’s grandmother, Ben’s stories of life as a foreigner will have you both cringing and laughing to tears.
