Aukuras Choir is an active participant in the musical life of Klaipėda, collaborating with renowned artists and talented creators. The programme with Vytautas Miškinis, one of the most famous Lithuanian conductors and composers of choral music, focuses on the works of authors who grew up in the legendary choir of boys and young people “Ąžuoliukas”. Compositions by Vaclovas Augustinas, Gintautas Venislovas and Miškinis, who has been directing Ąžuoliukas for many years, will be performed, based on liturgical and Lithuanian folk texts and William Shakespeare!
