Programme.

The closing concert of the Klaipėda Concert Hall season with the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra will feature the world-renowned Baroque flute virtuoso Maurice Steger. His virtuosity and deep knowledge of Baroque music and his sense of style have earned him the nickname of today’s “Pagan”, “wizard”, “one of the world’s finest performers of early music for the long flute” and “an inspiring, inspiring conductor”. The concert programme includes masterpieces by famous Baroque composers from Venice, which will be performed in Klaipėda in the same way as they are performed in Europe’s most famous concert halls – with all the necessary traditions of Baroque music performance. Mourice Steger will not only play the flute, but also conduct the orchestra.
