Klaipėda Concert Hall

The internationally acclaimed ensemble’s latest concert programme NICO: NEO-CLASSICAL features hypnotic post-minimalist textures and memorable cinematic soundscapes. Performed by strings and piano, the minimalist and post-minimalist music of 20th and 21st century composers, at once introspective and expressive in nature, seems to open up new imaginative dimensions for the listener.
This concert programme features today’s most popular composers, such as Philipp Glass, Ludovico Einaudi and Max Richter, as well as their best-known works: the dreamy On the Nature of Daylight by Max Richter, the expressive opus Nightbook by Ludovico Einaudi, and the music of the ensemble’s founder and artistic director, Gediminas Gelgotas.

P. Glass, O. E. Antonsen, L. Einaudi, G. Gelgott’s music for strings and piano
