4 April On April 4, April 4, a historic cultural event will take place in Klaipėda, at the Japanese Language and Culture Centre “Seito San” – the premiere of the first performance in Lithuania based on the canons of the traditional Japanese kabuki theatre “Theatre Faces”. The performance will reveal the aesthetics and philosophy of the Land of the Rising Sun, with striking make-up, expressive costumes, choreography and deep symbolism. It is a unique work that captures the idyll of Japanese culture and the masks of human emotions. Directed and choreographed by Taurūnas Baužas, the main roles are played by Anelia Slabenko and Mykhailo Mordasov. The event is a part of the Klaipėda Lyceum’s 30th anniversary celebration.
