Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra
Artistic Director Mindaugas Bačkus
Soloist: Chouchane Siranossian (violin, France-Armenia)
Chouchane Siranossian is one of today’s most exciting Baroque violinists, who has also mastered the classical violin repertoire.
However, Baroque music is the main area of her artistic expression, allowing the soloist to reveal a deep knowledge of this epoch and to seek out unusual combinations, such as this evening’s programme, which combines Antonio Vivaldi’s well-known “Seasons” and the 20th century. Music by the Armenian classic Komitas, based on the long tradition of Armenian music.
Programme: the Comitas (Armenian ancient songs) for violin and orchestra, Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”
