On Valentine’s Day, the port of Klaipėda will become the most romantic place in the city – music will be playing, the aroma of delicious coffee will be in the air, and the light of hearts will illuminate the spectacular Baken installation. On 14 February, the Port of Klaipėda invites residents and visitors to meet at the Cruise Ship Terminal and will treat those who agree to a small task with a hot drink.

“The illuminated installation at the Cruise Ship Terminal is our invitation to citizens and visitors to meet, share the warmth and welcome spring with light. Let this tank become a symbolic beacon – for meetings, for beautiful moments and, of course, for the love of the sea,” says Algis Latakas, Director General of Klaipėda State Seaport Authority.

If you would like to enjoy a free delicious coffee or tea, the port invites you to take a picture or a selfie next to the illuminated art installation “First Baken – for a bright dawn”, upload it to your social networks and hashtag it with the hashtag #pasimatymasuoste. Then just show the post to the barista and enjoy a hot cup of drink.

The Port of Klaipėda will be welcoming everyone on 14 February from 18:00 to 20:00.
