After a hiatus of many years, MARKET NIGHT is returning to the Old Klaipėda Market, and the Klaipėda Youth Theater invites everyone to fill the market not only with the usual goods, but also with artists, creators, music, theater, dance, performances, and unexpected ideas.

October 3 | 6:00–9:00 p.m.
The Old Klaipėda Market. The event will take place inside the market pavilion and outdoors next to it.

For one evening, the usual hustle and bustle of the market will give way to a creative buzz. We want to bring together different art forms, people, and ideas, and create a space for unexpected encounters. In other words—you come to the market, and you leave with a new favorite artist.

This year’s Market Night also invites you to reflect on the values of Motiejus Valančius. If they inspire your creative work—that’s wonderful. And if you have a completely different idea—even better. There’s no one “right” format here. Bring whatever you want to share!

COME JOIN US! WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE MARKET?:
– put on a theater, dance, or music performance;
– exhibit your creative work—paintings, clothing, sculptures, or anything else you create;
– sell items you’ve made;
– lead an activity for children, adults, or anyone who stops by;
– tell fortunes, play sports, experiment, or simply share a “what if…?” idea.

THE ORGANIZERS WILL PROVIDE:
– a space for your performance, creative work, or sales;
– snacks;
– coffee and tea;
– and, of course, an audience ready to discover something new.
