MEMEL FEST’26 – a short-form theater and film festival in Klaipėda, where two art forms—theater and film—come together.
Short-form content, diverse stories, creators, and audiences—all in one festival venue.
In response to the “Year of Social Responsibility” announced by the Klaipėda City Municipality, we are dedicating this year’s MemelFest’26 festival to people with disabilities.
We invite you to a three-day film and theater festival where, through art, we will explore experiences of disability, inclusion, societal attitudes, and the power of creativity.
Our goal is to reduce social and cultural exclusion, provide a space for creativity, strengthen public understanding of disability, and, together, learn to embrace difference.
