Ingaja is a solo performer and songwriter from Klaipėda with a unique, non-Lithuanian style and character. She represents the diversity of Lithuanian creativity with a western character. The music is intertwined with vocals, guitars, ambient colours and electronica flavours.
Ingaja looks for inspiration in nature and discovers nature within, seeking to connect with the listener’s inner world here and now. She is inspired by artists such as Ben Howard, Fink and Tash Sultana.
The artist invites the audience to immerse themselves between the musical lines, losing the sense of time and environment, body and mind. It is like steps through a map of inner experiences, and the role of music helps to observe the events of one’s life from the outside, to experience them more slowly in the presence of music.
