Two characters completely different in age and worldview meet in unexpected and intriguing circumstances. One at the beginning of his life’s journey, full of dreams, youthful maximalism and idealism. The other is in the beginningless twilight of his life, when, having gained life experience, he begins to look at the aspirations and desires of his youth with the eyes of a realist. Having buried his fanciful ideals, he begins to look for meaning in simpler, earthly things. Will he be able to open the eyes of a romanticised young man or convince him that the path he has chosen is disastrous?
In his play Some Kinds of Eagles, Polish screenwriter and director Doman Nowakowski talks about the harmful influence of television and other media, their invasion of the modern consumer’s brain through the manipulation of real and perceived values.
Smoking is allowed during the performance.
Running time: 1 hour. 25 minutes (without break)
