Traditional lullabies and games

2025-05-08 - 2025-05-08

Time

10:00

Location

Klaipėda Ethnocultural Centre
Daržų str. 10, Klaipėda
We kindly invite expectant families and families with toddlers (up to 2 years old) to join us for a cosy, warm session “Traditional Lullabies and Games” on MAY 8, 10.00 am.
Through these activities, we aim to bring back the sound of traditional pieces for our little ones at home. So what we do in them is not for the child to learn, but for parents or other elders to learn. We learn what melodies and words to use to guide our little ones into the world of sleep, what traditional pieces to use to calm them down, to make them laugh, to play with them, and at the same time, to develop their hearing, their sense of rhythm, and to strengthen the closeness of the bond between them. And while their parents are studying, the children have fun with their peers.
Duration 45 minutes
