Even though old, still golden.
I have laugh wrinkles, scene scars, blurred corners – but I’m still eminating youthful optimizm and vigour. Because I am – jazz. I am – Klaipėda Castle Jazz Festival
For 31 years I live in Klaipėda, through those years many things changed: presidents, ministers, mayors and even popes. The world yearns for a never exhausted solo part, yet I am still here. The same… maybe even better. Because good music doesn’t age, it becomes even more mature.
Throughout those years thousands of musicians have performed on stage, from all over the world – each of them brought their own history, their sound and color, their own feelings. Some played out of love, others – longing and some from a hope to make the world a better place.
My enchanting sounds play throughout Klaipėda’s castle masonry and the Baltic waves. My sound travels through the world. I heard, that people cry from happiness and dance from joy. I know and believe, that music heals – softer than words, stronger than medicine.
On June 23-29th I once again come back – not only to the stage, but to your hearts.
I’m not just a festival. I’m good music for the people, with a right to improvize and a duty to mesmerize.
I am jazz – good, old, golden.
