In the heart of Klaipėda, along the banks of the River Dane, we invite you to visit the Dane Square. With the recent completion of the Danė Square (2022), this place has already captured the hearts of the citizens of Klaipėda. The square is suitable for groups of all ages and interests.

In the centre of the park you will find an oasis of relaxation and discovery, and at the end of the square you will find an area for active recreation. Visiting this place, you will not only be able to admire the cosy environment, but also to broaden your historical knowledge – the main street of the square is equipped with a special timeline telling the most important events of the city’s history.

The eastern part of the square has sports and playgrounds for children, as well as a modern playground for cyclists, skateboarders and scooter enthusiasts, and a playground with trampolines for the little ones. In this part of the square you will also see a dancing fountain of colours, while modern benches, loungers and other facilities will allow you to sit quietly while enjoying the view of Klaipėda Old Town.

From June until autumn, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to watch the fountain’s music programme.
