The Pranas Domšaitis Gallery, a division of the National Art Museum of Lithuania, is a dynamic art and culture space in Klaipėda, on the historical Liepų Street. Changing exhibitions introduce visitors to works of old and contemporary fine art. Lithuanian and foreign artists present their works in the gallery. The permanent exhibition “Always on the Move”, renewed at the end of 2023, presents portraits, still lifes, landscapes, and paintings of biblical motifs by the expressionist artist Pranas Domšaitis (1880-1965). It is the most comprehensive exposition of the painter’s works, and the museum houses the largest collection of his works, donated by the Lithuanian Foundation in the USA. The museum also offers educational activities and excursions. Various events are organised in the courtyard.
