Friedrich’s Arcade with its own unique atmosphere is rightly considered by Klaipėda residents and city guests to be most probably the cosiest catchment area on the entire Lithuanian seacoast. Everyone is welcome here, whether it is to have a cup of coffee, business lunch or dinner with friends. This unique location reflects the deep-rooted European metropolitan tradition of transforming entire streets into galleries combining cosy cafes, restaurants, stylish boutiques and guesthouses in a single space. The arcade that opened its doors to visitors in 2006 was given the name of Friedrich to commemorate a historic persona: King of Prussia Friedrich Wilhelm III, who lived in Klaipėda during the Napoleonic Wars. Here you will find a coffee and liqueur house, a pizzeria, a restaurant, the Trapiche Steakhouse restaurant, a winery, a tavern, an Ayurvedic massage salon, a green pharmacy, and a guesthouse.
