PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED FOR COMMUNICATION PURPOSES

In order to respond to your request and to preserve evidence of the communication (in the legitimate interest of effective communication and to avoid disputes relating to the treatment of individuals), the Controller processes the following information provided by you:

  • when contacting the email addresses provided on the website, the email address, date, time and content of the email correspondence with the representative of the Controller shall be processed;
  • when sending a letter to the address of the Controller’s registered office indicated on the website, the sender’s name, surname, address, the date of receipt of the letter and the information contained in the letter shall be processed;
  • by submitting a request via the website’s enquiry form (https://klaipedatravel.en/structure-and-contacts/), the name and e-mail address of the person making the enquiry, the date and time of the enquiry, the content of the enquiry shall be processed;
  • the name of the user and the content of the correspondence with the representative of the Controller shall be processed when the user is contacted via the social network Facebook or Instagram account.

The personal data provided with the enquiries and further correspondence between you and the representative of the Controller will be kept for as long as necessary to perform the specific task and to ensure the exercise of the Controller’s rights, but no longer than 6 months from the date of receipt of these data.

If you make a request through your Facebook or Instagram account, the personal data you provide may be disclosed to the operators of that social network and to other persons with whom the operators of Facebook or Instagram share your personal data. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data are specified in the section of the Privacy Policy under the RIGHTS ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURE;

FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING ELECTRONIC COMMERCE, CONCLUDING AND EXECUTING SALES CONTRACTS THROUGH AN ONLINE SHOPKPERSONAL DATA

In order to conclude and execute a contract for an organised tourist trip using the Manager’s e-shop, the Manager processes the following personal data of the buyers:

  • name, address, contact telephone number, email address;
  • information related to the order placed in the online shop (date of payment, selected services, prices, quantities, method of payment, other billing information, discounts granted, bank account number).

The legal basis for processing personal data is the performance of a sales contract;

The above data shall be kept for 10 years from the expiry of the contract.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONFIRMING REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE AND ADMINISTERING THE PERSONAL ACCOUNT CREATED

The Controller allows each visitor of the website to register on the website and create a personal account for the purpose of more convenient use of the services provided by the Controller (e-shop), and the Controller, by administering these accounts, processes the following personal data:

  • when creating a personal account (during registration on the website), the name, surname, password, email address, password, date and time of registration are processed;
  • when logging in to a personal account, the email address, password, date and time of login are processed;
  • data (history) of orders placed in the e-shop.

The legal basis for processing personal data is your consent to create a personal account.

Registration and login data shall be stored for a period of 10 (ten) years from the last active activity on the website or until the persons who have created a personal account delete it on their own.

The data obtained by confirming orders via the online shop are stored for 10 years from the expiry of the contract of sale.

PROCEDURES FOR EXERCISING RIGHTS

All persons whose personal data is processed by the Controller shall have:

The right to have access to your personal data processed by the Controller The rights of access and rectification shall be exercised by submitting a written request to the Controller’s registered office or to the following e-mail addresstic@klaipedainfo.lt (if the application is signed with an e-signature).

When making a request for access to personal data, the request must specify the categories of personal data to which you are requesting access;

When making a request for the rectification of inaccurate or incorrect personal data, the request must specify which personal data you are requesting to be rectified.

Right to require the Controller to restrict the processing of personal data until the accuracy of the personal data has been verified, until it has been established whether the interests of the data subject who objects to the processing of the personal data are overridden by those of the Controller, and in cases where the processing of personal data is unlawful and the data subject does not consent to the erasure of the personal data; This right shall be exercised by submitting a written request to the Controller’s registered office or to the following email addresstic@klaipedainfo.lt (if an e-signed application is submitted). If the request is justified, the processing of the personal data shall be restricted within 5 working days of receipt of the request;
The right to data portability This right shall be exercised by submitting a written request to the Controller’s registered office or by sending an e-mail totic@klaipedainfo.lt (if an e-signed application is submitted). If the request is justified, the Controller shall provide your personal data in a computer-readable format to you or to the controller you have indicated, no later than 30 days after receipt of the request.
The right to object to the processing of personal data Business customers and their representatives, natural persons in respect of whom direct marketing is carried out without their consent, may exercise their right to object by submitting a request to the following email addresstic@klaipedainfo.lt. In all other cases, if you object to the processing of your personal data, we will assess whether your legitimate interest overrides that of the Controller.
The right to request erasure This right shall be exercised by submitting a written request to the Controller’s registered office or by sending an e-mail totic@klaipedainfo.lt (if an e-signed application is submitted). The controller shall erase the personal data concerned or refuse the request, stating in writing the reasons for the refusal, no later than 30 days from the date of receipt of the request.
The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority This right may be exercised by lodging a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate regarding any actions of the Controller in relation to the processing of your personal data;

 

In cases where you exercise your rights by submitting a written request to the address of the Manager’s registered office by post, you must submit a notarised copy of your personal document (passport, ID card) together with the request.
